What to Expect...

How should I prepare?
Honestly, there isn't any one way to prepare yourself for a tattoo. The thing to keep in mind is, it's painful, but most times pretty tolerable. You should eat at least a couple hours before you come in. You may bring in a drink if you would like while getting work done. Some people like to bring in music and headphones to listen to. If you have to be in the chair for a few hours, a pillow is comfortable. Please mind the clothing you wear while being tattooed, for instance, if you need to wear something sleeveless or strapless, or even in some cases a bathing suit. We do have doors to shut for private tattoos. Most involved tattoos need a consult to discuss ideas to make sure we are on the same page. Please allow for creative input and it is best if you stay flexible with some ideas if they are not what is considered "tattooable" or if they may not withstand longevity. We try to accommodate most peoples ideas and designs, but some things are not easily translated and need modification.
